Interactive Workshop

@Benaki Museum – 138 Pireos st

Jewelry enters the world of art, by transcending its role as body adornment and becoming an artistic means of expression with specific morphological, structural and conceptual properties and connota- tions. The world of art is inseparably linked to nature, since any artistic activity acts as an ‘inter-mediate’ between natural reality and human thought.

The artist draws inspiration from nature. But how can his artwork be alive, dynamic and autonomous? How can it have its own life and substance, free from any need for representation or external depiction of nature?
