Mörketid [Polar Night] is a series of enammeled brooches inspired by the northern polar nights. The darkness encompassing us -as the nights in wintertime slowly become longer and the daylight only lasts for a few hours- influences us in so many ways and creates juxtaposition between our need to just hibernate and all the winter festivities. Daylight, twilight and night become compasses of our mood and make the winter solstice, thus, more important.

The brooches are enammeled, containing a layer of silver leaf on the inside and covered by a hand-pierced pattern that lets the silver gleam through.

Cymatic Frequencies are inspired by the patterns sound makes when visually measured and Displacement refers to the displacement of human beings, from country to country, from existence to survival.
