LOOKING FOR ATLANTIDA #2
Porcelain, hemp cord, silver
In my work I try to fix the temporary and continuous vanishing process of nature.
Shaping my perceptions, it means answering the nature with a touch and entering into play with it. Nature addresses me with its uniqueness of flavor, color and shape. My answer to it, is creation.
In my porcelain jewelry collection, I explore nature by trying to push the boundaries of ceramic technique to another level of expression, reaching the edge of potential of this traditional branch of art and craft.
Ocean creatures, ancient Burano lace and fossils are being used as my sources of inspiration. I try to put the result of my research and practice in a modern context.
