HIDING PLACES #2
Satin, avocado skin, stainless steel
I’m a calm searcher and enjoyer of time. My ways of working are studious, often including long and slow processes. I travel and walk, collect things as I move and pause. I especially love adventuring the human mind. My jewelry is a reflection of my surroundings and thoughts and with it, I hope to evoke sensitivity and curiosity to the viewer.
“Hiding places” is a reflection of our need for security and private space. The pieces are made through a slow and meditative process in a quiet space. The main materials I use are satin and avocado skin. These two I combine, composing an organic shape with a surface of frequent lines.
