The Nameless and the Frankenstein of things.

I meet a collection as the things of Frankenstein. Where I create a new collection of nameless objects I’m using bronze as a material related to prehistory, but also silverware I have inherited from my father. Along with my family’s collectors I change the collections in an attempt to animate objects. It is to visualise the repetitions in a complex conflict that joins past and present in different compositions.

The things I am working on are taken from one side of my family’s house and childhood home in Kristiansand. The house was first purchased by my grandparents when my father was a child. Both generations had hung to collect, but also to “hoarding” of all the world remains and debris.
