My work, both as a founder and a jeweler, explores the softness of metal. In sharp contrast to how traditional bronze works and jewelry is interpreted, I am searching in the materials for an organic, anti-authoritarian way to communicate my works. Communicating with the human body and emotions, I work intuitively on both jewelry and objects. I wish for my pieces to directly engage the people they make contact with; to make them want to touch the pieces and wonder about the materials. Using bronze in my rings instead of precious stones, keeps me close to the materials I love and also renders my rings economically viable for me and the people that are interested in buying them.
