Contemporary jewelry design is a method for me. Decrypting meanings, omens, our existence.
Common and omnipresent shapes and objects inspire me.
Except for working in very small one-of-a-kind series, my main tools for achieving the desired result is the use of basic colors and simplified bold shapes to convey the feeling of graphic prints. These pieces from the “INSIDE OR OUT?” collection, deconstruct the form of our own bodies and their inner workings and turn them into ornamental reflections of our own selves.
The driving engine of my work is the exploration of the relationships, connections, conflicts, and symbiosis between traditional jewelry and its potential on the interdisciplinary edge of other visual art forms.
